I’ve already done the Montfort method of consecration to Jesus through Mary, but all methods are spiritually equivalent. If you’re consecrated, you’re consecrated. You simply promise to be quick to repent when you fail in fulfilling your baptismal vows and let Mary work with any good that may come of your life in accordance with the will of God. Really, every Christian who’s trying to live the faith is already supposed to be doing these things.
A spiritual father of mine, St. Jonathan Niehaus (I have no quibbles about jumping the gun on certain Church formalities), was part of the Schoenstatt movement. His gentleness, humility, patience, and kindness were like none I’ve seen in any other person. You people are true children of Mary and it certainly shows.
